We are frequently asked to consign cars that are not located near us. This obviously brings about some logistical challenges and this service is designed to make it as simple and straight forward for you to sell your car on consignment remotely through a dealership, such as NG Supercars while keeping your car safe at home. This helps eliminate risk yet still offer your car at a competitive selling program to get you as much money as possible, and provide the buyers with the confidence they need to make the deal happen.
How It Works:
Consignment Valuation:Contact us to discuss your vehicle. We will need pictures, milage, VIN, and any important information to help us determine a valuation. We will discuss with you and agree on an initial listing price and what you're expecting to get out of it. A consignment contract will be signed.
In Person Inspection: Once we have a consignment agreement in place, we will arrange to visit your car in person. All travel expenses are included. We will perform a PPI just like we do for any car that we're buying for our dealership, or for any of our consultation clients. We will also take all the pictures and videos we need to list the car. Please have the car washed and detailed so it's ready to go. If you have a good location that will present the car well, that would be appreciated as well. By having our PPI done up front, it is much easier for us to discuss your car with potential buyers and give them peace of mind that we know the condition of the car well.
The Hard Part: Now we have all we need to list your car, and try to get as much value for you as possible. We will leverage our social media presence and YouTube channel to market your car. Any serious offers will be relayed to you. If you accept the offer then we will handle all the paperwork and make it happen. We will arrange shipping and other necessary things so you do as little work as possible. All you have to do is sign some paperwork, and be present when the transporter picks up the car.
Costs, Details, Questions, Facts
How Much? We charge different percentages based on the final sales price of the car. Our consignment fee ranges from only 3-5%! The more expensive the car, the lower the percentage.
Lien: We can still consign your car if you have a lien. We will need to know the payoff amount up front. If we have to payoff the lien for the sale to go through, we will charge an additional 1% of the final sales price or $1,000, whichever is more.
Non-Refundable: This service is non-refundable. If you decide you no longer wish to sell your car, we will not refund you. By having you pay for this service up front, it helps us ensure that you are a serious seller.
No Unnecessary Bullshit: No random phone calls, no annoying text messages, no random people wanting free rides. We only reach out when we have serious offers from serious buyers.
Test Drives: If someone does require a test drive, they will have to arrange that through us and we will require a non-refundable deposit to prove they are a serious buyer. If you are unwilling or unable to provide a test drive, we will need to know that up front and will communicate that with potential buyers.
Your Car Stays SAFE: You keep your car at home with your insurance protecting you. No worries about scammers trying to pull one over, no dealerships not paying you, no title issues. Your car doesn't leave your possession until you are paid.
Payment: As soon as we have a deal, we will get you paid in full. Typically this is within a few days. We will pay you by wire transfer as soon as we have the buyer's money. No playing games, no delayed payments, no checks waiting to clear. If the buyer is financing the car, we will still pay you up front once we have verification of a loan even if we do not get paid on the loan right away.
More Opportunity to Sell: You may think that you want to sell your car on your own to get more money, and you may be right. But we can leverage our contacts, our social media network, and our dealership. This means we can take in trades that you probably don't want. It also means we can work with buyers that need financing. Add in our reputation and we fell that we are capable of getting a sale for your car quicker and probably at a higher price than you can on your own.
What if it Doesn't Sell? It's been our experience that if you have a good car and it's priced appropriately, it should sell pretty quickly. If it's not selling, it's almost certainly because it's priced higher than the market wants. If your car has not sold after a few months, we would ask that you be willing to entertain a lower price. If you are uncomfortable with lowering the price, we will leave the car listed for sale for up to 1 year from the signing of the consignment agreement.
